History
Childrens Hope Foundation was founded in 1997 by John Lane who managed the charity until 2003 when illness forced him to step down as Chief Executive. John retained his enthusiasm for and dedication to the charity, as a trustee until his untimely death in 2004. John's aim in founding the charity was to provide hope for the many children who suffered as a result of disability, illness or poverty. Consequently the charity's remit was wide insofar as assistance could be provided in almost any form providing that assistance would help to enrich and or improve the life of the child.
